Why Sasuke used genjutsu on Sakura? To keep her safe and away from the battle between him and Naruto. I think everyone remember what could have happened on the roof last time?:> And what I do think about his way of treating her? When Sasuke and Naruto were fighting against Gaara in Part 1 of Naruto manga, Sasuke admited that Sakura and Naruto are dear to him and he doesn't want to see their suffer and etc. So I think that Sasuke wants to keep Sakura safe from his enemies and so this is why he does not want to make 'close relationship with her'. And also... he wants everyone now to hate him...
